North Branch Library Summer Story Time
"Go Bananas At Your Library"


Summer Reading Program
Kids (preschool-11 years old)

It's more fun than a barrel of monkeys with special programs, reading incentives and a bunch of ways to monkey around at the library in June and July.

When you sign up for the SRP you will receive a book bag and a reading
record. Read 20 hours between June 4th and July 28th and receive an
incentive for every 5 hours read. Preschool children may have an adult or older child read to them.

In addition, Top Bananas who read 20 hours over the summer AND complete the extra credit reading activities will be entered into a drawing to be held on July 30th for a stuffed "Gladys the Gorilla".

Featuring an eagle and 3 other raptors. Free tickets will be available
beginning on May 29th.


Summer Preschool Story Time and Craft
June 6, 13, 20, 27 and July 11, 18 and 25
10:30 a.m.
North Branch Library Community Room.
Ages 3 through 5
Event is free.

Due to limited space, groups must call ahead (651-674-8443).

A drawing will be held at the close of each session for a stuffed
monkey.

I Spy "Gladys the Gorilla"
June 4-July 28

Photos have been taken of Gladys at various locations around town.
See if you can recognize the locations and enter the drawing to win a Gladys puppet and the miniature book "Gladys Goes Out to Lunch".

Curious George Photo Op
Monday July 16th
1:30-2:30 pm

Curious George will be visiting the North Branch Library. Parents- bring your camera & take a picture of your child with that mischievous monkey or a Polaroid picture can be taken for $1.00 each. Kids may enter the drawing for Curious George prizes.

Bananas Guessing Jar

Guess how many banana candies are in the jar and win
the jar of candy! Deadline to enter is July 28th.
